The more you look that thought in the face, the more you will reject the idea that, by any possible sorrow, or by any possible labor, or by any possible promise, a man could put himself into the position of deserving to have Christ to die for him. If Christ came to save sinners, it must have been as a gift, a free gift of God. The argument to me is conclusive."

Another post for this day might have been, "Happy Birthday to Lisa, my amazing friend" or "Lisa, my breathtakingly gorgeous friend".. of course, hmmm..how can I compete with salvation of God post? haa!! (kidding..you know)
