Drama Camp

Alyssa participated in a two-week drama camp at church this summer. One of the acts she played in was titled: If Boys Did Worship Dance.
Enjoy.

BTW, excuse the video quality. I turned on "night vision" which did not look green while I recorded it... but remember, I'm not the techno-genius in the family!

Definitely the Coolest Father in the World

I came across this remix in my van the other day, and couldn't help thinking how wonderful it is to be married to the coolest
Mac Daddy in the whole world.
Happy Father's Day, Boogs. You still make my heart throb. Honestly, you are the best, and I love you with all my heart.
(BTW, John did the remix. Yes, he rocks.)

Goggles

I didn't know whether to title this "Goggles" or "Ready, Set, Go" or "Sweet-Little-Baby-Girl that I Love to Watch".

Julianna Turned Six

For those of you who are wondering, our pool is "finished" and we finally celebrated Julianna's birthday with her little mermaid friends...

Going for a Ride

Lauren loves her Grandpa. Every morning and after her nap she runs to greet him, "Hi, Grandpa!"

After this ride in his lift chair, the two of them sat together and read books while chewing on toothpicks, like two peas in a pod.

Slowly but Surely

Now I can squint my eyes and imagine...
We've had to postpone Julianna's party for a couple of days. Hoping we won't have to wait much longer. It's hot here, and the only things enjoying the pool right now are tadpoles! (yuck).

Best Daddy in the World!

John didn't realize I was taking this video of him reading to the girls last night. (I'm not sure if he's trying to win some sort of award, maybe just a crown in heaven, but he definitely deserves it if he is.) Right now he is at the pond fishing with all the kids, and earlier today he took the big kids to the pool. (That was after he taxied a few to their friends' houses, and brought some buddies over here.) He serves me regularly in so many ways, but of all the things he does, my favorite is to see him loving the children.
I love you, Boogs! You're the best!

*Disclaimer: Ignore the tremendously loud television programming in the background. It goes with the territory where senior citizens reside! : )
