We have begun memorizing poetry each month. Noah and Alyssa each pick a poem out of a collection we enjoy. Julianna also decided to participate....
Noah memorized "The Eagle" by Lord Alfred Tennyson;
Alyssa memorized "Where Go the Boats" by Robert Louis Stevenson;
and Julianna memorized "The Elephant" by Hilaire Belloc.

Adroable those little ones are! Tell them Ms Gibson is so proud of their hard work!
All of them did outstanding on their poems!! Not only were the poems good, but being able to do it on camera was fantastic.
Love Mommie Mommie
Man..you guys! That brought tears to Miller's eyes!!! So precious, so proud and so perfect--you all are!! Beside, you know if I was there, I'd just have to kiss you all..eh-hem, that means you to Noah, Mr. Smartie pants. Pleeease keep recording those, even if you know it's just for me. I loved, loved it. I'll have to do one of Skye and send it back. Chase might feel a little intimidated if I put him on camera. He doesn't even know how to consistently say "nyeh, nyeh". (which is "momma")
Good job Noah, Alyssa and Julianna!!! Maybe next time we can hear from Spence. And in a few years or so, Miss Lauren will get her turn ;)
You amaze me! I never thought to have them memorize poetry! Great idea and great job, both mommy and kids!
Wow! Brought tears to my eyes...really!
